Paneer Maharani
1. Paneer- 200gms
2. White oil- 2tbsp
3. Butter- 50gms
4. Black pepper- 1tbsp
5. Salt- to taste
6. Whole garam masala- For tempering
7. Chilli flakes- 1tsp
8. Kitchen king powder- 2tsp
9. Dry fruits-
Dates- 10 to 12 pcs
Cherry- 7 to 8 pcs
Almonds- 8 to 10 pcs
Cashew nuts- 8 to 10 pcs
Raisins- 10 to 12 pcs
10. Coconut milk- 1 cup
11. Ginger paste- 1tbsp
12. Water- if needed.
Method-
1. Cut paneer into cubes.
2. Take a bowl and mix coconut milk, salt, black pepper. Marinate the cubes for 30 mins.
3. In a kadai or deep pan and heat white oil. Sauté all dry fruits except cherries and keep aside.
4. Temper whole garam masala in the same oil and add marinated paneer in it.
5. Add all the other spices to it and add salt.
6. Pour coconut milk and stir well.
7. Add butter and dry fruits to this. Lastly add cherries to this and put away from flame.
8. Serve this with luchi or basanti pulao.
