Khurbo

Khurbo It's a traditional lost recipe from Chittagong, Bangladesh. Ingredients: 1. Chicken- 500 grams 2. Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp 3. Kashmiri red chilli powder- 2 tsp 4. Salt- to taste 5. Lemon juice- 2 tbsp 6. Whole red chilli- 4 to 5 pcs 7. Garlic- 25 pods ( whole) Method: 1. Firstly, heat water in a deep pan and add Kashmiri red chilli, turmeric powder, salt to it. Bring it to boil. 2. After its being brought to boil add chicken to this broth. Set this boiled chicken aside. 3. Dry roast whole red chillies and garlic pods but make sure they don't turn black. Keep aside and make a fine paste of this. 4. Shred the boiled chicken. 5. Add the paste to the shredded chicken, add salt to taste, lemon juice and mix well. 6. Serve it with roti or steamed rice or as a starter.
