Keema Mocha Fry Masala
Ingredients-
1. Mocha or Banana flower- 3 cups chopped
2. Minced chicken keema- 200gms
3. Onion- 2 medium sized chopped
4. Garlic paste- 2 tsp
5. Ginger Paste- 1 tbsp
6. Chopped green chilli- 2 tsp
7. Mustard Oil- as required
8. Ghee- 2 tsp
9. Whole garam masala- 2 tbsp
10. Whole red chillies- 2 pcs
11. Bayleaf- 2 pcs
12. Coriander powder- 1 1/2 tsp
13. Cumin powder- 1 1/2 tsp
14. Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
15. Kashmiri red chilli powder- 1 tsp
16. Hung curd- 2 tbsp
17. Kasuri meethi- 1 tsp
18. Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
19. Tumeric powder- 1 1/2 tbsp
20. Salt & Sugar- to taste
Method-
1. Clean the banana flower and boil it with turmeric powder and salt. Strain & keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Add mustard to this and temper.
3. Add bayleaf, whole red chillies, whole garam masala and temper.
To this add chopped onions, ginger paste and garlic paste.
4. To this add keema and keep stirring it continuously.
5. Add all powder masala to this one after the other.
6. Add hung curd to this keema mix and add chopped green chillies to it. Lastly add salt and sugar to taste and mix properly.
7. Add water to this to bring the keema to a boil.
8. Add the banana flower to the keema mix and fry it well. Till the water is all soaked up.
9. To this add ghee, kasuri meethi and garam masala. Mix well.
The dish is ready to be served with Naan & Paratha.
