ROLL(TO SOAK EXCESS OIL FROM THE FRIED MALPOAS)
Ingredients-
- CHAANAA-200 gms (DRAINED)
- MILK POWDER-3 TO 4 TEASPOON
- SKIMMED MILK-1 CUP
- KHOYA- 50 gms
- VANILLA ESSENCE-1 TO 2 TEASPOON
- CADBURY DAIRY MILK- 1 BAR
- JAGGERY / BROWN SUGAR-200 gms
- WHITE OIL - TO FRY
- CHOCOLATE CHIPS - FOR DECORATION.
Process-
AT FIRST THE DRAINED CHAANAA IS MADE INTO A PASTE MY MOULDING IT WITH
HANDS.
THE CADBURY DAIRY MILK BAR IS PUT TO HEAT IN A DOUBLE BOILER AND MELTED.
THE MELTED CADBURY IS MIXED WITH THE CHAANAA PASTE AND POWDER MILK,VANILLA
ESSENCE,KHOYA ARE MIXED WELL AND MILK IS ADDED TO SMOOTHEN THE MIXTURE.
IN A PAN OIL IS HEATED AND A SMALL HANDFUL OF THE MIXTURE IS TAKEN AND MADE
IN SHAPE OF MALPOA BY FRYING IT, IN THIS WAY ALL THE MIXTURE IS MADE IN SMALL
MALPOAS.
IN A SEPERATE PAN 2 CUPS OF WATER AND 1 CUP OF JAGGERY/BROWN SUGAR IS ADDED
AND PUT TO BOIL UNTIL IT REDUCES TO HALF ITS QUANTITY.
THE FRIED MALPOAS ARE DIPPED IN THIS SYRUP UNTIL THEY ABSORB THE SYRUP
COMPLETELY.
THESE MALPOAS ARE THE DECORATED WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND SERVED HOT OR
COLD AS CHOCOLATE MALPOA.
